ADCO were contracted to do a full fit-out of Analytic Partners new offices in the Chancery Building in Dublin’s City Centre.
CHALLENGES FACED
- Works took place in an existing live building with commercial tenants on existing floors and residents in an adjoining apartment block which required out of hours and detailed co-ordination.
- The fire alarm system was a landlord system which was required to be maintained live during the construction phase. A tag in tag out system was employed during the works to overcome this.
INNOVATIONS
- A system of acoustic ceiling pods were designed in conjunction with our joiners which enabled project delivery date.
- A curved finger oak clad wall had to be constructed which provided both visual and acoustic separation but had to maintain a percentage of clear open area to comply with Part B of the Building Regulations.
SUCCESSES
- The project was completed with no reportable accidents, ahead of programme and within budget.
- Despite some design changes of works, ADCO achieved all targets set.
- The ADCO team worked closely with John Fleming Architects to ensure the project objectives were achieved.
